Al Fresco Cafe Poems #81

  Varied names have designated
The non-spatial location. Some
Namers claim to have witnessed
Its weather, not Spring, not Summer,
Not Autumn, not Winter. But
Only vaguely mention something
Familiar, a snowflake on top
Of a fence post, or a sun streak
Rainbowing the turned side
Of a minnow between water lily
Leaves in a shadowed pond.
But their faces shine, their bodies
Shiver as they relate their possession,
Confessing the only closeness
Is through asystematic improvisations
That apparently seem to have no connection
With the subject that is being considered.
All puzzles are subversive constructions,
For the puzzle itself is the information;
There is nothing to figure out,
The solution useless and only a trick.
