Fresh Eggs?

Are eggs used in other pastries rotten?

Should I add that to my

list of concerns about eating these sweet delights?

 

Fat thighs

Diabetes

Heart Disease

Long and painful death

due to consumption of rotten eggs

 

I must warn the

other gentiles.

Only Jewish pastries

use fresh eggs.

Fresh from the hen eggs.

Eggs refrigerated when not used,

not stored in warm, damp, dark places

collecting murderous bacteria

like Christian or Buddhist eggs.

 

But they will not listen.

They will paraphrase my distress

into laughable headlines

shake heads round dinner tables

muttering about my shame.

Then annoyed, they will

ostracize me into a

modern-day martyr.

With the right dosage

I will be silenced.
