Submission Guidelines

• Submissions are accepted year-round by e-mail ONLY

           Please send all work to editors @ ghotimag.com

• Work should be included in the body of the e-mail (no attachments, please!)
  
• Please send one genre per e-mail submission (only fiction, or only poetry, etc.)
  
• Subject lines should read as follows:
  Name Genre (ex. Jillian Meyer Poetry)

        If work is accepted, we’ll contact you regarding formatting issues

• Simultaneous submissions are accepted, as long as we’re notified IMMEDIATELY if work is accepted elsewhere

• No previously published work will be considered

• All rights revert to the author upon publication

      Fiction and Non-Fiction:

      1-2 pieces per submission

      2,500 words or less

      Flash Fiction:

      1-3 pieces per submission

      500 words or less

      Poetry:

      3-5 poems per submission

We are looking for strong, polished work that takes risks. We want writing that makes our palms sweat, and gets us arguing. We don’t really care if your work is about the secret life of cheese or your new pair of shoes, just as long as it’s fresh.
